Iranian wrestler Habibi banned for doping

TEHRAN - Salar Saeid Habibi Ehsani has been suspended after failing a doping test for the banned substance.

Habibi has been stripped of a gold medal he won at the 2022 Asian Wrestling Championship held in Manama, Bahrain.

Habibi had defeated Mahendra Babasaheb Gaikwad from India 10-0 in the final of 125kg.

He has been also ordered to pay 20,000 Swiss francs fine.
